Overview
NetSpeed Meter is designed to operate locally on your Windows device. This policy explains what the application processes and how that information is handled.
In short: NetSpeed Meter does not include analytics, advertising, telemetry, tracking or a cloud account. LOXA LLC does not receive your network measurements or usage history.
Information processed by the application
NetSpeed Meter reads byte counters and basic names and status information exposed by Windows for active network adapters. It uses those counters to calculate current download and upload speeds and data-usage totals.
The application does not inspect network packets, browsing history, website addresses, messages, file contents, passwords or other content transmitted through your connection.
Local storage and retention
Settings and usage totals are stored locally under the current Windows user's local application-data folder. Usage history is stored in a local SQLite database. This information is not transmitted to LOXA LLC or any developer-operated server.
The application automatically removes usage history older than approximately 400 days. Reports are created only when you explicitly export them and are saved to a location you choose.
You can remove application data using Windows app settings or by uninstalling the application. Detailed instructions are available on the Your data page.
Microsoft Store purchases and distribution
If you install or purchase NetSpeed Meter Plus through Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes installation, account, payment, licensing and related diagnostic information under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. NetSpeed Meter receives only the license status needed to unlock Plus features and does not receive your payment-card details.
Windows and Microsoft Store may communicate independently to install, update and license Store applications.
Children's privacy
NetSpeed Meter is a general-purpose utility. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users through the application.
Security and changes
We use reasonable measures for information submitted directly to support. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
