Control / Local data

Your device. Your history. Your control.

NetSpeed Meter does not require an AppLoxa account.

What is storedExportDeleteAccount requests

What is stored locally

  • Display and application preferences in a local settings file.
  • Minute-level download and upload totals in a local SQLite database.
  • Reports only when you explicitly export them to a location you choose.

NetSpeed Meter does not send this information to LOXA LLC and does not create an AppLoxa user account.

Export your history

NetSpeed Meter Plus can export recent usage as CSV or a self-contained HTML report:

  1. Open NetSpeed Meter from the notification area.
  2. Select Statistics.
  3. Choose Export CSV or HTML report.
  4. Store the file in a location you control.

Exported files are outside NetSpeed Meter's control. Delete them manually when no longer needed.

Delete local application data

Deleting app data removes local settings and usage history and may not be reversible. Export anything you want to keep first.

Microsoft Store installation

  1. Exit NetSpeed Meter from its notification-area menu.
  2. Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  3. Find NetSpeed Meter and open Advanced options.
  4. Select Reset, or uninstall the application.

Direct EXE installation

  1. Exit NetSpeed Meter.
  2. Open %LocalAppData%\NetSpeedMeter in File Explorer.
  3. Delete settings.json and stats.db, including any -wal and -shm companions.

Microsoft may retain Store purchase and transaction records under its own policies. Resetting local data does not cancel or delete a Microsoft account or Store purchase.

Account and deletion requests

There is no NetSpeed Meter or AppLoxa cloud account to delete, and LOXA LLC does not hold your network history. For information voluntarily sent to support, contact privacy@apploxa.com from the same address used in the conversation.
